ENERGY MANAGEMENT
In order to further reduce our carbon footprint, we have recently established Lakeside Energy (Pvt.) Limited, a 50MW wind power project aiming to provide renewable energy to more than 250,000 households in Pakistan. We are also implementing state of the art Solar Energy system which generates 7.5MW.
And thanks to our SCADA monitoring system we optimize our energy use in real time.
WATER STEWARDSHIP
Our commitment to responsible and sustainable water use is enshrined in our water management policy, which focuses on efficient use through reuse and recycling.
We are currently treating 300k gallons daily which is all treated through our ETP plant. We are also reusing 30k gallons daily from our finishing mercerisation machine.
We are reusing more than 40% through RO plant on ETP. Our target is increasing this number to 60% by end of 2025.

JEANS REDESIGN
JEANS REDESIGN
We are pleased to be a part of Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Jeans Redesign, a project to produce jeans that last longer, can be easily recycled and are made in a way that’s better for the environment and the people who make them.
Alongside other participants, we will be rethinking the way we produce jeans to tackle waste, pollution, and harmful practices across the industry.
POST-INDUSTRIAL AND
POST-CONSUMER WASTE
In-house shredding system with 5 tonnes shredding capacity per day.
In 2018, we partnered with Gap Inc. (GAP) and International Finance Corporation (IFC), to become a participant in its program ‘Partnership for Cleaner Textile (PaCT)’. This participation aimed at achieving environmental sustainability by focusing on taking advice on implementing cleaner production practices.
United Nations Global Compact
We are proud to be a United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) signatory company, committing to promote the 10 principles of the UNGC and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With this signature, we commit ourself to respecting human rights, providing a safe and decent working environment, protecting the environment, applying policies and practices that ensure transparent corporate management and providing our employees and society with sustainable value and benefits.
